Still Cooking, and Here's the proof.

Hi friends,

I know it's been a while since I last updated my blog. Apparently senior year is not as easy as I thought it would be. However, the bright side is that I am uploading pictures on Facebook. Yeah! Enjoy the picture!

Posts will be up soon!

Hi everyone!

I am close to finishing up my research here at Syracuse University, therefore due to the amount of lab work and reports, I am expecting to start writing again at the beginning of next week. Thank you for your patience. Hope to see you soon!

Aphrodisiac Foods - What makes you feel sexy?

I was watching "Master Chef" the other day, and the topic of the challenge is "Aphrodisiacs". (I love how one of the contestants was laughing for like 15 sec in front of the camera) When you think about it, cooking food that turns people on is actually kind of difficult.

The Joy of Serving

Last weekend, my friend Emily and Lisa came to visit me in Syracuse from Pennsylvania. Knowing they must be exhausted after the long car ride, I thought about preparing a breakfast feast for them. Also, they could give me some feedback of my homemade granola!

What's for Lunch? Japanese Bento Box!

Cranberry Juice - Tast the Tartness!

I have been drinking cranberry juice for the last couple of days, and I noticed that there is a HUGE difference between good quality cranberry juice and sugar filled, processed juice in terms of its nutritional value and health benefits.

My Dear Friend Elliott

I have been receiving phone calls every night since I started my new blog on Wednesday, from my dear friend Elliott. He is one of the greatest singers (Baritone, with a beautiful vibrato) from Texas, and he knows French, Italian, German, Latin, and of course English.

What's for Dinner - Paella or Risotto?

Both Paella and Risotto are very common dishes available in most restaurants here in the states. Just to clarify, Paella is Spanish and Risotto is Italian, but they surely share some similarities. The taste of all the flavors brought together by seafood, vegetables, or mushrooms really makes these dishes one of my favorites.

My Homemade Granola

For my first two years at Oberlin,  I was one of those students who did not eat breakfast in the morning. It wasn't a surprise to me when I noticed that I could not stay awake in class. (Plus Bio100 isn't the most exciting class to keep you awake at 9 am)
